You can also optionally provide the year of manufacture, but it is not necessary. This helps us identify potential errors. Vehicles built before 1995 most likely do not have EU type approval and cannot receive a COC document.

If you are a business customer or a company, please also provide your VAT identification number (VAT ID). This is not required for companies in Germany or private individuals.

If it is not possible to provide a COC for your VIN, for example, because the vehicle is too old or was not built for the European market, we will immediately cancel the order and refund the full purchase price.

Once the document is created by the vehicle manufacturer, you will receive an email with the PDF of your COC. With this copy, it is often possible to register your vehicle or perform a technical inspection. The original document will then be sent to you by mail or express delivery.
